Well if you have seen my collection before you then know im completely out of wall space since theres already over a thousand figures hanging up. The thing that sucks is i still have more than half my collection in storage. so i came up with this display while on a toy hunt in TRU. It allows for my figures to be seen but also serves as a storage center to clear out some room in my storage closets. right now i only plan on making them for clamshell figures, all my carded stuff will have to remain packed away. i just like how much cleaner the clamshells look and how they match, im kind of a perfectionist.

heres a pic of the finished product unstocked. i was gonna take in progress construction pics but i forgot. the next one i will though

lets go to the stock rooms and see what we can dig out
theres probably like 60 cases in this closet

probably around 40 or so in this one

i also have a third stock area but the pictures wouldnt come out right. probably around 50 or so cases in that closet.

this is only the first of what will be a total of four. gonna have one in each corner of the toy room. the next one has to be designated for baseball figures though since i have a couple hundred in storage. the other will be half basketball half hockey and the last one will go towards movie and music figures. im going for the whole toy store look. i figure im usually happiest in a toy store so why not bring the store home.

that is a FUCKING SHITLOAD of figures!

and I love that display idea! Wonder if it would be possible to make a taller one, that could even rotate! Or even just building that same idea over/around like, a column... if I had one in my house

i have two columns and it would work awesome but it would get in the way of the walking areas for me so i couldnt do it. and i thought about the spinning thing as well but im not smart enough to engineer that
